WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT KABALE?
Kabale is located in the West of Uganda in Kabale District - Kigezi sub-region, lying 2,000 metres (6,600 ft) above sea level. It is approximately 420 kilometres, by road, southwest of Kampala, Uganda's capital and largest city and within a short distance is the beautiful Lake Bunyonyi, Bwindi Impenetrable National Forest, and of course Rwanda whose Virunga Mountains can be seen from the town.
